STUDENT ATTENDANCE
  • A student who falls short of 75% attendance does not qualify to appear in the annual Board Examination. The rules of the federal board in this regard are strictly enforced.
  • In case of 10 days continuous or intermittent absence in a month, the name of the student will be struck off from the school. However, application for leave on genuine grounds may be considered.
CODE OF CONDUCT

The following ‘CODE OF CONDUCT’ is prescribed for the students of Pakistan International School Jeddah.

A student of Pakistan International School Jeddah will always:
  1. Remain clean and tidy.
  2. Be polite to elders, courteous to equals and kind to youngsters.
  3. Keep promises.
  4. Thank others for their kindness.
  5. Help others in good work and need.
  6. Remain modest.
  7. Seek forgiveness if commits a mistake.
  8. Try to offer scheduled prayers in time and in congregation.
The prescribed “Code of Conduct and Discipline" is a detailed set of guidelines for the expected behaviour and interaction of the students, teachers, parents, school management and Board of Directors. A copy of this document is also available for the parents’ reference. A discipline committee and student advisor /coordinator or student counsellor are deputed to address the problems and issues concerning the students.
MORNING ASSEMBLY

Morning Assembly is regularly held fifteen minutes before the start of the first period, with a view to inculcating moral and religious values among the students through short lectures / sermons. As such all the students are required to reach the school fifteen minutes prior to the commencement of classes.

FINES

Heavy fines shall be imposed on violation of the rules as detailed in the “Code of Conduct and Discipline" and other notifications issued from time to time by the School management.

REMOVAL FROM THE SCHOOL ROLL
  • The name of a student, who remains absent continuously for a period of one month without prior permission will be struck off from the School roll.
  • For other reasons resulting in removal from the School roll ‘Code of Conduct & Discipline’ of the School shall be applicable.
